Patience is a necessary trait to have when in an intimate relationship. There is nothing more frustrating than waiting for your girlfriend to get dressed for a night out when you’ve been dressed and ready to leave for two hours. I thought this was something that happened only to me. I though my girl was the slowest and most indecisive person in the world when it came to getting dressed to go out. That is until many of my friends shared their similar experiences with me.

Of course every man wants his woman to look as good as they possibly can. But when one has to wait forever to get that done, it takes the joy out of the experience. No matter how times it happens, we never seem to get used to the emotions waiting endlessly inspires. Yet somehow, seeing the results of our patience always seems to make the wait worthwhile.

“Tortoise” is a light hearted comical song about this frustration countless men have experienced while waiting for their woman to get dressed to go out.
